Learning is the foundation of organizational success.

The demand for professional development is on the rise. It is an essential ingredient to any engagement and retention initiative. It is the companion to long-term succession planning efforts. And growing your workforce to adapt now and in the future can't happen without it.

Every organization has unique learning and development needs.

What's yours?

Do you need a consultant to evaluate and assess your learning needs?

To support an existing learning and development team or program?

Or guide the development of learning strategy and programming?

Maybe even just deliver training and facilitation?

We can find the answers together! Here are some ways I have and can deliver learning & development services.

What is the real need? What problem are we trying to solve? Great learning strategies look at the big picture and ensure that everything connects back to performance and results. â€‹

A big picture approach to learning and development means you have a plan to improve performance now and to prepare your people for what's coming tomorrow.

I've spent years learning what good learning looks like. And I've built leadership development strategies to increase learners' capabilities with practical and strategically-aligned skills.

You might need an outside expert to provide oversight and guidance to build a strategy or a partner to work alongside your  team. Either way, I can help set learning in context and connect it to the organization's big priorities and goals.

Learning programs demand details. This is behind-the-scenes work and coordination that, when done well, aren't visible to the learner.

I've shepherded learning programs from first concept to full operation. This means assessing the genuine need, designing a suitable program, developing great materials, coordinating the steps needed for implementation, and creating ways and means to evaluate learning outcomes.

I've done this for half-day workshops and for year-long executive programs. And just about everything in between.

I am a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), and the nuts and bolts of bringing learning to life is one of the most practical ways to use my experience and expertise to help you grow.

Learning and development can (and should!) happen anywhere on the job, but classroom training will always have a part to play.

I've been doing some form of public speaking and facilitation since I was 13. This means I am a calm and comfortable classroom instructor and highly-capable facilitator. Because I've practiced.

I have a small catalog of ready-to-go classes (change leadership, emotional intelligence, team assessment workshops) and can work with you to build a class or program that will meet your need.
